Temporary Closure of the Computer Center Building During Central Air Conditioning System Upgrade (January 30–June 30, 2026)

To provide a more stable and comfortable service environment, the Computer Center will carry out a central air conditioning system upgrade project.
From January 30 to June 30, 2026, the entire Computer Center building will be closed and not open to the public during the construction period. Related service arrangements are adjusted as follows. Please take note of the information below.

📘 Course and Classroom Arrangements

Classes relocated; learning continues uninterrupted.

All courses originally scheduled in the Computer Center and the Information Building have been fully coordinated and relocated to other campus buildings.
Faculty and students are requested to attend classes according to the classrooms indicated in the course timetable.
💻 Public Computer Access and Cloud Printing

Services remain available at alternative locations.

  • During the construction period, public computer access services at the Computer Center and Microcomputer Room I will be suspended.
  • For cloud printing and computer usage needs, please use the facilities available at the University Libraries.

🧑‍💼 On-site Technical Support & Administrative Inquiries

Services continue at adjusted locations.

  • Technical Support: Please proceed to the 1F Entrance of the Computer Center for assistance.
  • Administrative Inquiries: For matters requiring specific staff members, please contact us by phone in advance to make arrangements.

During the construction period, all online services and administrative operations of the Computer Center will continue as usual.

💡 Frequently Asked Questions

Q1|Can Ren-Wei Lecture Hall, smart classrooms, and the conference hall still be reserved?

A: No. For construction safety reasons, these spaces will be unavailable for reservation during the construction period. The reopening schedule will be announced after the project is completed.

Q2|Will Computer Center services be suspended during the construction period?

A: No. All Computer Center operations and online services will continue to function normally. For system, network, or campus-licensed software support, please contact us via online services or by phone.

Q3|Where will Computer Center staff be working during the construction period?

A: During the construction period, Computer Center staff will be stationed at the first floor of the Computer Center building, the third floor of Ji-Ying Building, and the fourth floor of the Information Building, and will continue to provide services.

Q4|Is it necessary to visit in person to handle administrative matters?

A: Not necessarily. Most matters are recommended to be handled via phone or the online service desk first. If on-site assistance is still required, please go to the entrance on the first floor of the Computer Center, where staff will assist with guidance.
