NCCU Computer Center's Contingency Measures for Campus-wide Power Outages on July 19, July 27, August 3, and August 4, 2024

1.Power Supply Preparedness：
Computer Center is equipped with generators and an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system to ensure the continuity of services.

2.Service Continuity：
Network equipment and servers are expected to remain operational and unaffected by the power outages.

3.Extended Power Outages：
If the power outage extends beyond the announced restoration time, leading to a significant increase in server room temperature or any other unforeseen abnormal situations, the following measures will be taken:
Relevant network equipment and servers will be shut down as necessary to prevent damage and ensure safety.

4.Further Announcements：
Additional information and updates will be provided as needed based on the situation.

These measures aim to minimize disruptions and maintain essential services during the scheduled power outages.
