Authorization Rules

NCCU Campus-Authorized Software provides staff and students（hereinafter referred to as “users”）; As the University signs specific agreements with the manufacturers of various authorized software, users shall abide by the specific regulations, authorized users and authorized locations. If users do not abide by the above regulations, users shall be fully liable for any damages, relevant legal responsibilities and problems arising from abuse of intellectual property rights.

Legitimate Acquisition of Campus Authorized Software

Temporary Duplication is Allowed

Removal of Software

This platform is the only platform for users to acquire campus-authorized software of the University legitimately.
Users shall download the software in person and may not provide their account ID and password to others for downloading purposes.
Users shall securely store their account ID and password to prevent unauthorized ID and password use.

Software files downloaded from the platform may be duplicated temporarily (downloaded and saved on a personal computer, portable disk, or burned into a compact disk) for installation purposes. Regulations are as follows:

Only one copy shall be duplicated and is limited to personal use only; it may not be transferred , transmitted or distributed openly to others for their use.
Regardless of the duplication formats, all duplicates shall be deleted/ eliminated within 24 hours after downloading.

If the following situations arise, users are required to remove software or delete software files immediately:

Software for which the announced agreement or authorization has expired.
Users leave the University for such reasons as graduation, deferment of study, resignation, retirement or transfer.
