NCCU Campus-Authorized Software
Since 1992, NCCU has implemented the NCCU Campus-Authorized Software initiative to enforce the protection of intellectual property rights and promote the use of legally licensed software. Under this initiative, selected computer software used for teaching and administrative purposes is centrally procured with dedicated university funds and made available as shared resources across the campus.
As the scope and variety of software licenses continue to expand, the university’s investment in this area has increased accordingly. For example, in the 2019 academic year, NCCU invested over NT$10 million in related software licensing and distribution.
- The Computer Center handles the annual centralized procurement of a wide range of teaching and administrative software. While most licenses cover faculty and staff, some software is also made available to all students, including those living in the dormitories.
- Faculty, staff, and students can download eligible software by logging in to iNCCU or NCCU Campus-Authorized Software website using their NCCU email account and password.
- All users must comply with intellectual property laws and the licensing terms of each software. Any illegal use is solely the responsibility of the user.
